We had a fun week learning about the differences between living and nonliving things. Ask your students what they are.
We wrapped up the week by comparing gummy worms to real earth worms. Eek!
The intention of this blog is to share what we are learning through descriptions, pictures, student work and more!

Such a fun week so far! Our theme is I Spy a Good Book/Mystery. There has been a case of a missing book reported. We have a crime scene set up in the library with new clues on who may have taken Miss Hawk's Book. There is a suspect board near the library to help us solve this mystery. We think it was Miss MaryAnn.
Part of Read Across America Week is Stop Everything and Read. Since we're becoming readers, this was a fun time for us (and only happened in the afternoon twice).
Congratulations to Simon for being October's Keys to Success Award Winner.

Thank you soooo much for making our Valentine's party a success! The students had a great time finding a match to their mailbox - then decorating and personalizing the mailboxes. We had a STEM candy heart balancing/building challenge; enjoyed a sweet treat, Pirate's Booty, drink; made a heart sun catcher and played musical hearts and hot potato. Thank you for sending in all materials/snacks for our party.
