Good or Service?

During our Economics unit we learned the difference between goods and services. Students then had to devise a plan to earn $2 providing either for a family member. We treated ourselves to donuts & juice from Yum-Ee Donuts. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate. Therefore we enjoyed our donuts while playing an economics version of monopoly, in the Eagle's Nest at school.

Leprechaun Traps

With partners, using any materials in our classroom; students constructed traps to try to catch a leprechuan or two. Students shared their hypothesis with the class. Unfortunately, no leprechuans were caught this year. We decided we should have left them up for a longer period of time.
