Deputy Snyder Visits

Our school Deputy, Deputy Snyder will visit our class each month to talk to us about a different form of Safety.  This week, he spoke to us about Bus Safety and what his job is at our school.

Nurse Truax visited us and spoke to us about germs and how we can pretend spreading them (washing hands).  We then painted and created germ monsters.

Keys to Success Lesson with Mrs. Grijak

Mrs. Grijak, Souder's Instructional Facilitator visited our class today to go over Hylen Souders Keys to Success citizenship program.  The students each made their own superhereo symbol that will help them be the best they can be this year.

Keys to Success Monthly Focus

Each month we will focus on one of the Keys to Success.  I will choose one student who has done an incredible job displaying that key.  That student will earn the award for the Key to Success.  I will also be giving out Lexia Core 5 awards (for completing each level) at this time, along with a few other awards.  This award ceremony will typically take place the last Friday of each month.
