Jump Rope for Life

Our school is gearing up to participate in Jump Rope for Heart to benefit the American Heart Association during the month of February. Our students are very excited to learn new jumping skills & get their hearts active & healthy! I’ve included important information to keep you up to date on the JRFH activities we will have going on in our school. We will be honoring students in our own school affected by heart disease and sending home materials at a school wide kickoff assembly on Thursday, January 26! Snow day

A funny for the day-I was told in order for school to be canceled and us to have a ‘snow’ day; the following three things must be done this evening: 1. Pajamas must be worn inside out. 2. You need to flush an ice cube down the toilet. 3. Spoons must be placed under pillows before bed. I’ve heard of ‘snow’ dances, but not these random procedures. Who will be partaking this evening?

Another Island of Famer...

Congrats to Kaeyln Lortz for earning all her blue ribbons for Reading!

Our PTO is wonderful! They arranged and paid for COSI to come to our school. We learned about kinetic and potential energy. Shelby was chosen from the audience as an assistant.
