Preservation Parks - Ohio Animals

We enjoyed a visit from Miss Casey from Preservation Parks.  She read a story about animals in winter, then shared some Ohio Animals with us!  We even got to pet a box turtle.

Adjectives and Hot Chocolate

We discussed adjectives, listened to a story about Hot Chocolate and all the words to describe it - drank hot chocolate and finally choose a word of our own to describe it!

COSI on Wheels

We're very thankful to Souders' PTO for inviting COSI on Wheels in to help us learn about our Human Bodies.  We had a great time rotating through stations!

HS Students Teach a Lesson About Christmas in Germany

Thanks to our fantastic Big Walnut HS German students, we now know that the tradition of decorating Christmas came from Germany and that St. Nick puts candy in the boots/shoes of children who have been good.  We also sang the German Christmas Carol, O Tannenbaum.
